Epperstone House Master Bedroom

It was a pleasure to be invited back to this beautiful home, for the next phase….

The brief for this Master Bedroom was, ‘Hi-end Beach Hotel’. My client wanted to feel the luxury of their holidays, everyday….

Having previously re designed the master bathroom and other areas of the downstairs, this time, the client wanted to create a calm and luxurious Master Bedroom. Exploring the best layout for the space, incorporating built-in wardrobes to maximise storage and a dressing table area was a must.

Using neutral tones, natural materials, and textures helps to create the calm beach hotel vibe and a feeling of tranquility. The bespoke headboard was designed to frame the bed and create a focal point. Built in bedside lighting adds a reading light and wall lights above create ambience and interest and add to the layers of light. Fabric shades add drama, softness and curves which help to soften the angles in the room.

We wrapped textured wallpaper around the room to create a cosy hotel feel and subtle detail.

Details; A pop of soft blue on the ceiling adds an unexpected detail of colour. Fluted wardrobes tie in nicely with other fluted details around the room. Clear sockets/ light switch, blend into the walls and show off the wallpaper detail. Faux curtains add softness to the existing shutters. Marble bedsides add in more natural earthy pattern. Statement art adds a playfulness

Designing an oak picture rail and headboard batons, add a contemporary twist of a period feature. Also framing the bed.
